We are selling our Volkswagen Caddy Maxi from 2018, running on gasoline and CNG. The van can be bought with or without camper box. Without, the van is perfect to use as a small company car. As a van, she is perfect for a variety of long weekend adventures, whether you are surfing along the Atlantic coast, going for a city trip (she fits urban parking garages) or going on small mountain paths.

With this van, you will have the following advantages:

1. In Portugal, CNG is exempt from circulation tax, saving you a few hundred euro's a year

2. Power inventer included (see pictures), so you can plug in regular power cords

3. Throughout Europe, CNG is much cheaper than gasoline, so the cost per kilometre is much lower than gasoline (usually around 50%, depending on the country).

4. Dual set-up with night mode (140 x 200 bed) and day mode (small bench and table, see pictures)

5. With the height of around 1.90 (handy for city parking garages) and limited length, you can park it easily and make hairpins on small mountain roads other vans would struggle with.

6. Heki roof window in three positions and with mosquito net and black-out screen (see pictures)

7. Possiblity to take out the van box so it's empty and you can use it to move furniture and take it to the IPO

Disadvantages:

1. There is one major disadvantage of the CNG system: it is not widely available in Portugal. Generally, the Lisbon area and the north are fine, but Alentejo and the Algarve are challenging. The car also has a gasoline tank, on which it can operate independently for roughly 100 kilometer. We have done many long weekends throughout Portugal and it's completely doable, you just need to manage expectations and count more stops to fuel up. In the rest of Europe, there are no issues. Note that out of the two CNG providers in Portugal (Dourogas and Galp), the one most available is heavily priced (close to E95 price).

2. Because it is a CNG system, you need to do a yearly leak check. This can be done with a specialist from ITG and needs to be done at the same time as the IPO.

3. The felt is not done very well. We did this part ourselves and are not super happy with the result.

We are selling the van because we are buying a larger one for our future dogs and us.

Estamos a vender a nossa VW Caddy Maxi (versão longa) de 2018, a gasolina e GNC (Gás Natural Comprimido). Pode ser comprada com ou sem a box de campismo. Sem ela, é um excelente comercial leve. Com ela, é a companheira perfeita para surf trips na costa, escapadinhas urbanas (entra em garagens subterrâneas) ou caminhos de montanha.

Histórico e Especificações:

Potência: 81 kW / 110 cv

Origem: Julho 2018 (Países Baixos), frota de telecomunicações. Somos os 2ºs donos (Maio 2024). Importada/legalizada em Portugal em Julho 2025.

Quilometragem: 139.000 km (Histórico de manutenção e CoC disponíveis)

Extras: Pneus 4 estações em bom estado. Versão Highline com excelente nível de equipamento e conforto.

Principais Vantagens:

Isenção de IUC: Veículos comerciais ligeiros a GNC estão isentos de IUC em Portugal, garantindo uma boa poupança anual.

Muito Económica: Na Europa, o GNC reduz o custo por km em cerca de 50% face à gasolina.

Setup Camper Inteligente: Modo noite (cama 140x200 cm) e modo dia (banco e mesa). Inclui clarabóia Heki (3 posições, mosquiteiro e blackout) e inversor de corrente para fichas normais de 230V.

Agilidade: Com ~1,90m de altura, estaciona em qualquer lado e faz curvas apertadas de montanha onde autocaravanas maiores não passam. A box remove-se facilmente para o IPO ou para carregar móveis.

Pontos a ter em conta:

Rede GNC: Em Portugal a rede é boa no Norte/Lisboa, mas escassa no Alentejo/Algarve. A carrinha tem depósito de gasolina (autonomia de ~100 km), pelo que viagens longas exigem planeamento. No resto da Europa a rede é excelente. Nota: o gás da Galp é mais caro (próximo da SC95).

Inspeção de Gás: Requer teste anual de estanqueidade ao sistema de gás (feito por técnico ex: ITG) na altura da IPO.

Isolamento DIY: O acabamento do feltro interior foi feito por nós e tem imperfeições estéticas.

Motivo de venda: Compra de carrinha maior para nós e para os nossos futuros cães.
