🚙 2001 Suzuki Jimny 1.3 16V Petrol — 25 Years Young & Still Ready for Adventure

Sadly, the time has come to find a new commander for this little Japanese war hero.

Meet my 2001 Suzuki Jimny 1.3 16V Petrol, a proper old-school 4x4 from the days when cars were simple, mechanical and didn’t require a software update every time you sneezed.

Despite celebrating its 25th birthday, this Jimny has covered only just over 72,000 km — which, in Jimny terms, means it has barely finished basic training.

It’s in great condition for its age, both inside and out. Naturally, after 25 years of service it carries the odd war wound and battle scar here and there, but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a veteran of this vintage. No Botox, no pretending it’s brand new — just a very tidy, honest little Jimny with plenty of adventures left in it.

At 71,008 km it went in for a proper service and check-up, including engine oil, oil filter, air filter, brake fluid, radiator coolant, injection-system cleaning.

So the old soldier has recently been through the medical tent, given a clean bill of health and sent back out on active duty. 😄
